Cancellation Policy

Assumption of Risk I, the undersigned volunteer, understand and acknowledge that my participation in volunteer activities with Volunteers of Vegas may involve certain risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen events. I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks. Release of Liability In consideration of being permitted to volunteer with Volunteers of Vegas, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Volunteers of Vegas, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partner organizations from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or connected with my participation in volunteer activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for a period of one (1) year from the date of my signature below. Medical Treatment Authorization I authorize Volunteers of Vegas to provide or obtain emergency medical treatment for me in the event of an injury or illness occurring during volunteer activities within one (1) year from the date of my signature. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for any medical costs incurred. Personal Responsibility I agree to follow all safety instructions, organizational policies, and directions provided by Volunteers of Vegas staff, event leads, or supervisors. I understand that failure to comply may result in immediate termination of my volunteer role. Photographic & Media Release I grant Volunteers of Vegas permission to use photographs, video, or audio recordings of me taken during volunteer activities within one (1) year from the date of my signature for promotional, educational, marketing, and informational purposes, without compensation. Acknowledgement & Term I acknowledge that this waiver is valid for one (1) year from the date of my signature and applies to all volunteer activities with Volunteers of Vegas during that period. I have carefully read this waiver, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
